This High Performance version system that maxes out at 16GB. It may ship with 2pcs of 1GB or 2GB kits standard memory, in the Single or Dual Processors at 3GHz to 3.6 depending on model. System has 6 sockets, two sockets per Bank. There are total of three Banks. For system that is installed with Single-Rank DIMMs (STC3430/1GB, 2GB, & 4GB), all 6 sockets (three Banks) may be filled. For system that is installed with Dual-Rank DIMMs (STC3750/4GB only the first four sockets or the first two Banks should be filled, the third Bank must leave empty. Memory must be purchased and installed in pairs in sequential order per Bank (Bank A, Bank B and then Bank C). Dual-Rank modules must be populated before Single-Rank modules. STC3430/1GB, 2GB, & 4GB are Single Rank memory, which can be used in all 6 sockets. STC3750/4GB & 8GB are Dual Rank memory, which can only be used in 4 the FIRST 4 sockets only.
