System supports 800MHz Unbuffered ECC DDR2 SDRAM 240-Pin memory. Memory can upgrades in single or in pairs; however, they must be added in matched pairs to take advantage of Dual Channel Mode. NOTE: * To utilize the maximum configurations, this system will need a 64-bit operating system. When installing memory modules: Single DIMM (non-interleaving) must be installed in the DIMM_CH1_A slot. Two DIMMs (interleaving) install the blue DIMM slots (DIMM_CH1_A and DIMM_CH2_B). Four DIMMs – For optimum performance, the amount of memory in the black DIMM slots should be matched to the amount in the blue DIMM slots. |
