System supports 667MHz Registered ECC DDR2 SDRAM 240-Pin single/dual rank kit memory; Low Power DIMMs memory; with total of 16 DIMM sockets (4 per CPU memory node) maxes up to 128GB with four CPU’s installed. Memory must be purchased and installed in matched pairs. NOTE: * SimpleTech does not support Low Power DIMMs memory at this time. This ProLiant BL685c G5 supports 2 and 4 processor configurations ONLY. Both DIMM slots in a memory bank must be populated and identical. Banks must be populated in sequential alphabetic order, starting with bank A. Install identical DIMMs as pairs only, starting with DIMM socket 1, bank A. DIMMs must be installed in decreasing capacity with the largest DIMMs installed in the banks furthest away from each processor. |
