System supports 667MHz ECC Fully Buffered DIMMs DDR2 SDRAM 240-Pin Single/Dual-Ranked memory modules. Memory must be puchased and installed in matched pairs for Dual Channel Mode. For best performance, fully buffered DIMMs (FBDs) should be installed in matched groups of four for Quad-Channel mode. NOTE: * DIMM sockets must be populated by lowest number first. When mixing memory speeds modules, the system will default to the slowest speed installed. Memory sparing and memory mirroring require eight FB DIMM modules (four kits of two). |
