Notes:

Your media (Compact Flash, SmartMedia and Hard Drives) are now seen as a logical drive through
"My Computer" and the "Windows Explorer".

You may need to mount and format the card under Windows 2000. This is done two ways:

1)Right Clicking on the Drive letter under "My Computer" and selecting format.

2)Going into the "Control Panel" and double clicking on "Administrative Tools". Next Click
on "Computer Management".

On the left hand side click on the plus sign in front of "Storage" and then "Disk Management".

It will now display all the logical drives (Hard Drives, Removable Drives, Zip drives ect.)
mounted on your computer system.

---!!!!CAUTION!!!!---

It is Critical that you select the correct "REMOVABLE" volume. The drives will show the
following information:

Volume   Layout     Type   File    System    Status    Capacity
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C:       Partition  Basic  FAT32   Healthy   (System)  6.04GB
E:       Partition  Basic  FAT     Healthy   (Active)  64MB

Below this will show the Volumes graphically. Select the correct Drive letter, generally this
will be the last drive letter in the list, however pay attention to the capacity of the drive
volume. This should closely match the capacity of the Compact Flash, SmartMedia or Hard Drive
installed into the Simple Technoloy PhotoReader or Simple Drive Unit.

To Format Right on selected drive letter and click on "FORMAT". This process should not take
long at all.

Full installtion is now complete. You can now start using your PhotoReader or Simple Drive.
