What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?
This Privacy Policy covers Fabrik's treatment of personal information that Fabrik or its partners gather when you are on the Sites and when you use Fabrik services. This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Fabrik does not own or control, or to individuals that Fabrik does not employ or manage.

What Personal Information About Customers Does Fabrik Collect?
Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with a friendly, customized, and efficient experience. We may collect the following types of information from our customers: First name, last name, email address, user status and activity, and account capacity.

Information You Provide to Us:
We receive and store any information you enter on the Sites, provide to us in connection with registration for Fabrik services or provide to us in any other way. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of many of our special features and services. The personal information you provide is used for such purposes as enabling your use of certain services, responding to your requests for certain products and services, customizing the advertising and content you see, and communicating with you about specials and new products.

• Registration: In order for you to use our Sites or services, you must complete a registration form. We require your contact information (such as name and e-mail address). We may also request demographic information and unique identifiers in order to provide you with a more personalized service.
  
  
• Ordering: To process your order, we require contact information (such as billing address) and credit card or other payment information. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders.
  
  

Automatic Information:

Fabrik automatically receives and records certain "traffic data" on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, Fabrik cookie information, and the page you requested. Fabrik uses this traffic data to help diagnose problems with its server, analyze trends and administer the Sites and services.
  
  
• Generally, our services automatically collect usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of visitors to our Sites and its components or usage data regarding our services, similar to TV ratings that indicate how many people watched a particular show. Such data is only used in the aggregate. This type of collective data enables us and our partners to figure out how often customers use parts of the Sites or the services, so we can make the Sites and services appealing to as many customers as possible. In addition, we may provide statistical information, not information about you personally, to our partners about how our customers, collectively, use our Sites and services. • We may, and allow our partners to, transfer from your computer that uses a Fabrik backup service located in any country to, or maintain on, our or our partners' servers located in any country (including, the U.S.), personal or other information you provide in connection with a Fabrik service.

E-mail Communications:
We may receive a confirmation when you open an e-mail from Fabrik if your computer supports this type of program, in order to help us make e-mails more interesting and helpful. We also send out emails with news or promotions. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us, please login to your account and select the corresponding option from the account area.

Information From Other Sources:
For purposes such as improving personalization of our service, we may receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information. We also sometimes receive updated information from other sources so that we can correct our records and communication more easily.

What about Cookies?

• Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in our Sites and services are visited and by how many people. Fabrik cookies do not collect personal information, and we do not combine information collected through cookies with other personal information to tell us who you are or what your screen name or email address is.
  
  
• The "help" portion of the toolbar on the majority of browsers will direct you on how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to command the browser to tell you when you receive a new cookie, or how to fully disable cookies. Will Fabrik share any of the information it receives?
Information about our customers is an integral part of our business. We may disclose your personal information with entities that are controlled by or control Fabrik and as described below.

• Affiliated Business We Do Not Control:
  We are affiliated with a variety of businesses and work closely with them. In certain situations, these businesses operate stores at Fabrik or sell items to you as a Site or Service. In other situations, Fabrik provides services, or sells products jointly with affiliated businesses. We will share customer information that is related to such transactions with that affiliated business.
  
  
• Agents and Partners:
  We employ other companies and people to perform tasks and services on our behalf and need to share your information with them and allow them to use such information in order to provide products or services to you. An "Affiliate" is a parent, any subsidiary, joint venture, or other third party under common control with Fabrik or its partner (or its subcontractors).

  We may release personal information when we believe in good faith that release is necessary to comply with that law; or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on Fabrik or its partners (or any of their subcontractors); enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Fabrik, its partners (or their subcontractors), our employees, our users, or others. Is Information About Me Secure?

Your Fabrik Account Information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You need to work to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by signing off once you have finished using a shared computer.

We have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, use or disclosure, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect online or via the Fabrik services. However, we do not guarantee or assure security and such risks cannot be eliminated; thus, you are reminded to not store sensitive information (such as Social Security Numbers and other sensitive financial information) on the Sites or Fabrik services.

What Information Can I Access?
You can access the personal information that we have collected about you on our Site and correct, amend, or delete information that is inaccurate by logging into your account and editing your information accordingly.

What Choices Do I Have?
As stated previously, you can always opt not to disclose information, even though it will be needed to make a purchase or take advantage of certain Fabrik features.

• You are able to add or update certain information on pages, such as those listed in the "What Information Do I Have" section above. When you update information, however, we often maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records.
  
  
• You may request deletion of your Fabrik account by logging into your Site account and selecting the close account option from the account area. Please note that some information may remain in our records after deletion of your account.
  
  
• If you do not wish to receive promotional e-mail from us, please login to your Site account and select the corresponding option from the My Account area. Please note that even if you opt out of promotional communications, we will continue to send you important account-related information.

Fabrik Services may permit you to link to other websites on the Internet, and other websites may contain links to the Sites. These other websites are not under Fabrik control. The privacy and security practices of websites linked to or from the Sites are not covered by this Privacy Statement, and Fabrik is not responsible for the privacy or security practices or the content of such websites.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
Fabrik may amend this Privacy Policy. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make material changes to our privacy policy, we will notify you by posting an announcement on our Sites so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances if any, it is disclosed.
