Server supports Dual-Core AMD Opteron processors up to 3.0GHz. Supports DDR2 PC2-5300 Dual Channel Register ECC SDRAM Very-low profile (VLP) memory with 8 DIMM slots per blade in single-width models or 16 DIMM slots in double-width models. Total memory of up to 16GB in single-width models or 32GB in double-width models. Memory must be purchased and installed as a kit of 2 modules. NOTES: * Single processor systems can use only four of the memory sockets (2 Banks of 2) and dual processor systems can use all eight memory sockets (4 Banks of 2).
