System supports 800MHz Unbuffered Non-ECC DDR2 SDRAM 240-Pin x8 and x16 single-rank and double-rank DIMMs memory modules. Memory can upgrades in single or in pairs; however, they must be added in matched pairs to take advantage of Dual Channel Mode. Note: * If 4GB is installed, the recognized memory may be reduced to 3.5GB or less depending on operating system configuration and memory allocation. To utilize the maximum configurations, this system will need a 64-bit operating system. Slot 1 is black and must always be populated. DIMMs constructed with x4 SDRAM are not supported. SimpleTech does not support 4GB memory modules at this time. |
